Andrew Lentz is part of our Providence attorney team and works in our Litigation, Education & Municipal Law, Business Law, and Bankruptcy-Restructuring-Creditors Rights areas. He is known for handling highly complex litigation related matters and deep experience in issues regarding child welfare.
Andrew brings a wide range of experience to the firm, including a focus on tort litigation in cases involving professional liability, negligence, and insurance coverage. He has collaborated with world renowned experts in their fields to provide the best representation for his clients.
He has represented clients in Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal courts, and successfully argued before the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
Andrew clerked for the Rhode Island Supreme Court’s Trial Court Law Clerk Department for the Honorable Melissa A. Long and the Honorable Melissa E. Darigan; he interned for the Honorable Patricia A. Sullivan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
With a lifelong passion to care for underserved populations, particularly children, Andrew worked in various capacities for nonprofits serving suspected victims of child abuse. In those roles, he worked with children, families, law enforcement, prosecutors, community organizations, teachers, and school administrators.
